Tams are available in acrylic, hemp and cotton.

The medium size does hold a lot of dreads!

"Closed (solid)" means the tam's stitches are close together and are not see-through. The tams pictured here are closed. Mostly used in cooler weather tams.

"Open (mesh)" means the tam has some openwork or holes to allow for air circulation, though not as open as the scarves. Mostly used in warmer weather tams.
